Our academic programs combine leadership training with social impact consulting projects in emerging markets. We aim to prepare the next generation of responsible leaders by engaging top-performing students through impact projects in Peru, Brazil, and South Africa.
Through intensive leadership training including personal reflection, mentoring and coaching, our fellows are challenged to grow as leaders and as positive contributors to society.
A New Approach To Learning
LEARNING BY DOING
A hands-on social impact consultancy project, where fellows can apply acquired knowledge, and work with social sector partnerships created through our existing networks – including Ashoka Fellows and Endeavor companies.
LEARNING BY THINKING
A comprehensive classroom-based and experiential change curriculum with locally sourced subject matter experts, professors, and corporate stakeholders.
LEARNING BY REFLECTING
A self transformation models and expert facilitators; and a coaching program, focused on personal development, with peer-to-peer and professional coaching feedback.
We offer various programs and collaborate with international universities
and business schools to design team-building activities with an emphasis on cultural diversity, as well as semester-long courses, taught between different universities across different continents.

How has our definition of leadership changed in the las decade? What are the skills that future leaders will need to be successful in our changed world? Focussing on these major questions, the Emzingo designed IP explores the major failures in corporate leadership of the last few decades as well as the key competencies that we hope will shape the future of bussines and how it engages with society at large.
CultureFLEX improves students’ understanding and ability to work across cultural, geographic, functional, and age differences by recognizing and challenging existing paradigms. We explore different cultural norms and explain how to act and interact with others of different countries and cultures.
SOCIAL INNOVATION AND DESIGN
Workshops range from a few hours to a full week. Participants learn and apply design thinking, human centered design, and Theory U to solve a challenge in the local community or for a nom-profit or social enterprise. Students and other stakeholders work together to discover creative and innovative solutions to the presented challenge.
EQ & SELF AWARENESS
This session emphasizes reflection, coaching, and an empathetic approach to problem solving. Hard skills are a given when it comes to performing at school or work. What sets you apart is your ability to recognize and leverage your own strengths, and it is this self-awareness that enables you to succeed persona lly and professionally.
SOCIAL BUSINESS MODELING
Participants learn how to use the social business model canvas to design, evaluate, and recommend improvements to business models with a social impact, be it their own business or an organization/business that they are supporting.
